new Slayer album drops July 7th
Columbia Records has confirmed a July 7th release date for the new album from Slayer. The first new track from the album - "Psychopathy Red" - was made available as a 7-inch vinyl disc on April 18th, as part of the third annual Record Store Day. Only 5,000 of these limited edition discs were manufactured worldwide.

Fudge Tacos
it's safe to include one more bad pun in this cinco de mayo week in the form of:
Mario Lopez writing a CHILDREN'S book called MUD TACOS!!
cutesy idea but the name just sounds a bit too "back-door-action-cinema" no?
Published by Penguin Group's Celebra, Mud Tacos! is going to be a picture book written by Lopez and his sister Marissa Lopez-Wong and illustrated by veteran kids' book artist Maryn Roos.
To be published October 2009, Mud Tacos! "is a loving tale about their family and the nurturing bond between a brother and sister. The story follows Mario and Marissa and their cousins Chico and Rosie playing in their nana’s backyard and using their imagination to have fun."
The book is ready to go to the next step: becoming a movie. An Animated one! Eva Longoria has signed the deal to play Mario Lopez’ sister’s character. Gloria Estefan, would play the mom, and George Lopez said he would be involved too.
